Social Media Week 2013 : The Future of Social Media in the Drinks Industry

Did you know that as an industry, the drinks business gets more engagement on Facebook than any other business type? (Stats from socialbakers.com)  It's no wonder then that Like Minds decided it was time to put the drinks industry in the spotlight at this year's Social Media Week series of events in London.

On the afternoon of 26th Sept, I joined several other experts in the field as a panelist on their Future Trends for Social Media in the Drinks Industry session which included Cleo Rocos (founder and owner of Aquariva Tequila), Dr Jamie Good (one of the world's top wine journalists and bloggers), Tom Mollerton (Marketing Director at We Are Social, London's largest social media agency), Jeremy Waite (head of Social Strategy at Adobe) and Greg Saunders (Creative Director at White Label UK).

Julie Sheppard, associate editor at Imbibe, did a great job of keeping us all in line and the end result was a lively discussion that prompted lots of interaction from the audience.
