Grant Writing Services in East Sussex
Securing funding is one of the biggest challenges facing charities, community organisations and cultural institutions in East Sussex today. Whether you're applying to the National Archives, Arts Council England, a county archive trust, or a charitable foundation, a well-crafted application can make the difference between a project happening or not. We offer specialist grant writing support for archives, museums, heritage organisations, arts charities, CICs and community groups — helping you present your work compellingly and submit applications that stand out.
Why Work With The Loop?
Grant funders receive hundreds of applications. What makes yours stand out isn't just a good idea — it's how clearly and compellingly it's presented. We understand what funders look for, how to structure your case for support, and how to align your project's outcomes with funder priorities.
We bring local knowledge of East Sussex's funding landscape alongside experience across charities, arts, health, education, environment and community development sectors.
Our grant writing is led by Susanne Currid, with 7 years' experience in heritage and arts funding across the South East.
What We Do
We work with you from initial funder research through to final submission. This includes assessing whether your project is a strong fit for a particular fund, gathering the evidence and organisational information needed, drafting the application, shaping your budget narrative, and refining the final submission together.
We work with organisations across East Sussex — including Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes, Bexhill, Rye, Seaford and the wider South East.
